It's always special hosting kids birthday parties. The cake pictured was from a 3rd birthday party, it was a lovely event with minimal fuss & maximum balloons! The perfect mix I'm told. This beautiful cake was made by the childs mother - Clemmie Telford you can read her blog here
So how can we help you to hold a children's party of your own?
1. Chat through your options: First of all, we can help you to talk through what the perfect party looks like for you. Some people love the idea of a 'one package' party where the venue does the catering, recommends an entertainer, helps source decorations, party bags & music. Other people prefer to just hire the venue and then bring all the elements together themselves. We get just as many bookings for each because each party is individual to the hosts who hold it. We will always hold an initial consultation at our venue once we receive your enquiry & then can answer any other questions you might have prior to booking by email.
2. Recommend great entertainment: We have a list of entertainers in the area that we highly recommend, & can share that with you, saving you the hassle of looking on the local forums for suggestions, & because our entertainers have worked at the venue before they know it and can deliver you a fab event - Just a few examples, have you heard of Spin Painting? Its a great activity for a large group of children where all can come away with their own individual designed clothing. Check out Captured on the Rye for more info
For a fantastic musical party try Nimble Tots (Pictured above) a South East London based music and storytelling organisation, aimed at delivering high quality, creative and inclusive music, story and drama workshops for 0-5s and their parents and carers, founded by storyteller and cellist Becky Dixon. 3. Help you find your dream birthday cake If 'The Great British Bake Off' leaves you cold then reach out to one of our recommended local bakers like the amazing Emete Friddle of Friddles Cakes Friddles cakes are also currently selling tickets to a Sugar Flower Decorating Class which would be the perfect christmas present.
