As a venue for hire, located in the family friendly area of East Dulwich/Peckham, Space at 61 hosts a lot of kids parties (we average at least two per weekend.)
Kids parties can be costly but with a few simple tips there are lots of ways to make a saving, and it is a budget friendly party idea I wanted to pass along today.
This weekend the hosts decided to do the entertainment themselves, rather than hire an entertainer. They created lots of fun games for the children to move around and play with. It does take a bit of planning if you don't use an entertainer but you can still have a great time if you are organised.
One of the things that proved a show stopper for the little ones (it was a two and a four year olds joint party) was the disco ball. As you can see in the video, this little ball, which takes up no space and can be purchased from as little as £9 on Amazon creates beautiful light patterns on the ceiling which can be really fun for an indoor party.
Things like this can create really memorable moments for a child, and for the adults have the benefit of being easy on the pocket.
